Into
Me

Here's the Agreement: no more Tequila.
Normal life breakfasts. Every day, know the date.
Let my new bruises be: a transformation.
Proof of my will, as I change my fate.
See the way, the weary gray, is blown away
when the sun breaks free?
Stronger is the spark, coming through your eyes,
from your heart
from your heart and into me.
Join the resistance, all pumped up for victory
help clacking tall branches, beat gray skies into blue.
Leap with the hard light, squandering safety
landing like lightning, clutching one thing true.
See the way, the weary gray, is blown away
when the sun breaks free?
Stronger is the spark, coming through your eyes,
from your heart
from your heart and into me.
Take this manifesto, go where you're needed,
rest beside woodpiles, breathe
(but be ready to fight).
Fight to find sparkling, diamonds on oak leaves,
or tattoos on windows, from a hard frost over night.
See the way, the weary gray, is blown away
when the sun breaks free?
Stronger is the spark, coming through your eyes,
from your heart
from your heart and into me.
Fight for the moment, when dreaming eyes waken,
sparkling with hope, when
all
of it all is all right.
