ABOUT: She
Keeps It Inside
I have 5 pages in “the boneyard” for
this song. It was written over about 6 days in May. It
began as a song called “Never Gonna’
Try”, which was about a person who’s so scared
of failing, they don’t try anything.I saved the
chording & 1st four lines of the 1st. verse lyric, then
trashed the rest and started over.I had a friend, then a
welder, now a respectable doctor, who used to alway say:
“Live a little before you die a lot!” The 1st
half of the bridge is likely about my wife, who’s
good at sticking out her chin. The rest of the lyrics just,
umm, kinda’ showed up.I think Darcy Mazerolle would
do a great job on this song. Email me with a note about who
you think should record “She Keeps It
Inside”.
