SHINE A LIGHT

Hmmm, shine a light down on me.

I saw an angel, fall from heaven
I saw an angel falling down
Feathers filled the sky like snowflakes
Drifting softly, to the ground.

I heard the Devil, cry this morning
He sounded sad and all alone
He hid his tears in the morning dew
as treetops bent from his moans

Shine a light, shine a light
Shine a light down on me
Shine a light, shine a light
Shine a light down on me

I saw a star shoot across the sky
Hours before the dawn
It turned the darkness into sparkling light
And all too soon, it was gone.

Shine a light, shine a light
Shine a light down on me
Shine a light, shine a light
Shine a light down on me

Sometimes I wonder what I’m doing here
Sometimes I can’t tell wrong from right
I hope some day, it’ll all comes clear
Oh come on. Shine a light

Shine a light, shine a light
Shine a light down on me
Shine a light, shine a light
Shine a light down on me
Shine a light down on me
